Sports Card Want/Trade List for:

Jim Peirce

107 Central Park Sq. #102

Los Alamos NM 87544

Please note that I am on temporary assignment in Vienna, Austria, so I only have access to a few cards.  However, the above address is still valid.

The following is a list of sets that I collected as a tween (1974-1978).  They resided in my parents’ attic in California up until Christmas 2004, when they were unceremoniously handed to me as I boarded the east-bound train to Santa Fe.  Later, as I was preparing them for sale on eBay, nostalgia overtook me and I decided: what the heck, now that I have a few more resources than my childhood self, I’ll finally complete the sets that eluded me all those years ago.  Then I’ll have even more cards to store in MY attic until I can hand them off to MY (grand)kids

I would prefer to trade like years and condition, but I also have some cards from earlier and later years that are listed after the want list.

Many thanks to the following traders who have helped me reach my goals:

Anthony Arbeeny                   Steve Archibald                     Larry Beil

Frank Salerno                        Brad Nelson                           Mike Osborne

Mark Rhoades                       Ken Goetsch                          Bob Brown

1962 Topps Baseball

This is a low priority set, as they were printed before I was even born, but I have always thought the 1962 Topps Baseball series to be the best-looking set of cards ever produced (gotta love that wood frame look!!).  Please, no green tints (they’re fuzzy and ugly).  The numbers in bold are dupes.

This is a Have list:

This is also a low priority set, as they were printed before I started collecting in earnest, but since I had a third of the set already, I figured I would just finish it.

TRADE LIST

Please note that I have tried to objectively follow these grading guidelines, but being a newbie to the grading scene, I will most surely make mistakes.  If in doubt, please ask for a scan.

I will also try to use Dan Austin’s card valuation standards, which I have also reprinted here:
